Nutella Crepes with Strawberries
Ingredients:
For the Crepes:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Butter or oil, for cooking
For the Filling:
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

- Powdered sugar (optional)

- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Crepe Batter:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking continuously to form a smooth batter. Ensure there are no lumps.
- Let the batter rest for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours. This allows the flour to fully hydrate and ensures tender crepes.
2. Cook the Crepes:
- Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat and lightly coat with butter or oil.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the pan and immediately swirl the pan to spread the batter into a thin, even layer.
- Cook for about 1-2 minutes, until the edges start to lift and the underside is golden brown.
- Flip the crepe with a spatula and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute on the other side.
- Remove the cooked crepe from the pan and place it on a plate. Repeat with the remaining batter, stacking the crepes with a piece of parchment paper between each to prevent sticking.
3. Assemble the Crepes:
- Spread a generous tablespoon of Nutella onto one half of each crepe.
- Arrange a few slices of fresh strawberries over the Nutella.
- Fold the crepe in half, then fold it in half again to form a triangle.
4. Serve:
- Dust the folded crepes with powdered sugar, if desired.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and additional fresh strawberries on the side.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a touch of color and flavor.
