Baked sausage in pastry recipe
Ingredients :
2 lbs puff pastry
8 sausages
1/2 cup cheese
1 egg
Poppy seeds
Sesame seeds
Step 1: Slice the cheese into 8 bars (to fit the size of the sausages).
Step 2: Cut each sausage lengthwise and insert a cheese stick.
Step 3: Slice the puff pastry into 8 pieces.
Step 4: Place each sausage stuffed with cheese on each piece of dough, in the middle.
Step 5: Cut the edges of each piece of dough (both edges are cut close to the sausage).
Step 6: Knit the dough strips over the sausage.
Step 7: Place the formed pastry in a baking tray.
Step 8: Beat one egg and grease each pretzel.
Step 9: Sprinkle poppy seeds and sesame seeds (as you prefer).
Step 10: Place the tray in the oven for 20 minutes at 360 F degrees.
