Roast Beef and Cheddar Sliders Recipe
Ingredients:
12 slider rolls or small dinner rolls
1 lb. thinly sliced roast beef
12 slices sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1 tbsp minced onion
1 tbsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Rolls:
Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Assemble the Sliders:
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the rolls.
Layer the roast beef evenly over the rolls.
Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each layer of roast beef.
Top with the top halves of the rolls.
Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, minced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the Sauce:
Brush the tops of the rolls generously with the butter mixture, ensuring they are well-coated and the sauce seeps into the rolls.
Bake the Sliders:
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before cutting and serving. Enjoy your delicious roast beef and cheddar sliders!
Tips:
For extra flavor, add caramelized onions or sautéed mushrooms between the roast beef and cheese layers.
Serve with a side of au jus or horseradish sauce for dipping.
